Gravity of Light Exhibit at BMoCA

Two of Alyson Denny’s moving images, Photon Motion #22 and Transpositions #8, will occupy the second floor of the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (BMoCA) during the upcoming Gravity of Light exhibit, opening on September 24.

Guest-curated by artist/curator Kate Petley, this exhibit will be a different kind of look at light. From BMoCA’s press release:

“The Gravity of Light brings together seven contemporary artists who use light as material and lightness as a physical experience. Through photography, video, drawing, and installation, the artists use color, shadow, and contrast to emphasize how light affects our physical experience.”
