Joshua Light Show and The Bad Plus at NYU Skirball, 2014 (Michelle V. Agins/New York Times)

Tickets On Sale for Joshua Light Show 50th Anniversary Concerts at NYU Skirball, Sept. 8-9, 2017

Two evenings of light and music will take place on September 8 and 9 at NYU Skirball in NYC to celebrate the Joshua Light Show's 50th Anniversary.

The Joshua Light Show, "The Most Psychedelic Light Show of All Time" (Rolling Stone), got its start in 1967 at Bill Graham's Fillmore East, and then regenerated in the 21st century with new members who combine the classic original tricks with an ever-developing parade of new ones.

For these concerts Alyson Denny will be performing some of the fabled "liquid light" alongside a dream team of collaborators: Joshua White (Founder), Nick Hallett (Music Producer), Curtis Godino, Seth Kirby, Chaz Lord, Brock Monroe, Gary Panter, Doug Pope, and Briged Smith.

The bands, representing an excitingly eclectic array of musical sounds, will be:

Fri 9/8 @ 7:30pm: Boss Hog, Dave Harrington Group (with guests)

Sat 9/9 @ 7:30pm: Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Man Forever (with guests)
